Missing Parsippany Teen Has Been Found, Police Say

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A teenage boy from Parsippany who was reported missing late Tuesday afternoon has been found safe, according to an early morning update by Parsippany police.

"William has been located, and his family has been notified," the police department announced in a Facebook post at 6:50 a.m. on Wednesday.

The update comes approximately 13 hours after county and local authorities asked the public for assistance in finding William Young, an 18-year-old who had last been seen at his residence at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.

According to Parsippany police, the Prosecutor's Missing Persons Unit collaborated with outside organizations such as the New Jersey State Police Aviation Bureau and the Morris County Sheriff's Office.
