Festival Of The Sea Parking, Traffic Notices Issued In Point Pleasant Beach

Point Pleasant Beach police have issued notices about the closure of a municipal lot and traffic measures for the event.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Getting ready for the Festival of the Sea in Point Pleasant Beach on Saturday? Borough police have issued parking and traffic notices for the event.

Residents who park in the River Avenue municipal lot will need to move their vehicles, police said. The lot will be closed beginning at noon Friday through Sunday, police said. All vehicles must be moved or they will be towed.

In addition, police said there will be changes to traffic patterns on some streets during the festival on Saturday.

Grove Street will be one way eastbound from Lincoln Avenue to River Avenue, and McLean Avenue will be one way westbound from River Avenue to Orchard and Lincoln Avenues.

Residents on the affected areas of Grove Street, McLean Avenue and Orchard Avenue are asked to park their vehicles on the street in the one-way direction from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.
