UPDATED: Latest Blizzard Videos and Images from Point Pleasant

As winter storm Jonas bore down on the Jersey shore, Point Pleasant residents have stepped outside to capture the impact.

A foot of snow, 60-mile-per-hour winds, flooding, power outages and a statewide state of emergency: those are the effects so far in the winter storm that began bearing down on New Jersey and Point Pleasant overnight. So far over a foot of snow has fallen in parts of New Jersey, and officials expect the snow to continue falling at a rate of three inches per hour throughout the day.

Officials in Barnegat, Toms River, Lacey, Manasquan and other towns have asked residents to evacuate from vulnerable areas.
