Burglary, Criminal Mischief: Princeton Police Blotter

A resident reported property worth $171,125 stolen from their home, police said.

PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Police Blotter dated Aug. 13 had the following reports:

On July 27, unknown individual(s), entered a residence on Springdale Road and stole $171,125 worth of property. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On July 27, following a report of a shoplifting in progress at a retail location on Nassau Street, two New York residents, were placed under arrest for shoplifting. They were processed at PPD Headquarters, charged accordingly and released.

On July 30, it was reported that a residence on Fleming Way was burglarized. The victims reported having $1,000 in property stolen. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On July 31, following an NCIC lookup, a 54-year-old Trenton man, William Henderson, was found to be a Wanted Person out of Montgomery Co. Sheriffs Office (Pennsylvania), Pennsylvania Adult Probation Office, and the Princeton Police Dept. He also had numerous warrants for his arrest from several Mercer Co. NJ Municipal Courts. He was also found to be in possession of stolen property from a retail store on N. Harrison Street as well as drug paraphernalia. Henderson was placed under arrest, processed, charged accordingly and turned over to the custody of the Mercer County Correctional Center.

On Aug. 4, following a call for an unwanted person, a 27-year-old Princeton resident was found to have multiple warrants for his arrest out of Camden City Municipal Court and Mansfield Twp. Municipal Court. Gonell was placed under arrest, transported to PPD Headquarters where he was processed and released to the custody of Camden County Police.

On Aug. 7, a witness reported a burglary in progress by two men described as: Suspect #1 – Black male in is 20’s wearing a yellow jacket with a hood, thin build, average height, black shorts and sneakers. Suspect #2 – Black male mid-twenties wearing a black shirt, thin build, average height, black shorts and sneakers. The suspects fled the area prior to gaining entry to the home and before patrol arrival.

On Aug. 8, following a motor vehicle stop on Witherspoon Street, a 34-year-old Princeton resident was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported to PPD Headquarters where she was processed, charged accordingly and released.

On Aug. 12, unknown suspects entered a retail establishment on Nassau Street and stole $11,874.00 in merchandise. The suspects are described as one black teenage male, wearing all black clothing, white Adidas sneakers, with short dreadlocks covered by a black durag. There were also three black females with no description provided. They fled the area prior to patrol arrival.
