Downed Wires Close Route 206 In Princeton As Storm Hits

JCP&L and PSE&G are reporting more than 4,500 Mercer County residents are without power as of 1 p.m. Wednesday.

PRINCETON, NJ — Route 206 in Princeton is closed on Wednesday afternoon after wires went down as a severe storm hit.

The highway is closed between Lovers Lane and Hutchinson Drive, Princeton police announced around 1:05 p.m.

PSE&G is aware, and officers are on the scene detouring traffic.

JCP&L is reporting close to 3,000 residents without power in Mercer County. PSE&G is reporting more than 1,500 without power in the county.
