How Much Rain Fell In Princeton During Tropical Storm Isaias?

PRINCETON, NJ — Tropical Storm Isaias brought plenty of rain and wind to the area bringing down trees and causing some flooding.

According to the National Weather Service, Logan Township in Glouster County recorded the most with 5.41 inches in New Jersey. In Mercer County, Ewing recorded the highest total.

So how much rain did Princeton get? Here is a breakdown of some Mercer County towns' recorded rainfall, according to the NWS:

  • Ewing - 3.77 inches
  • Pennington - 3.01 inches
  • Princeton - 2.29 inches
  • Trenton - 2.15 inches

The storm also brought heavy wind to the area with 58 mph peak wind gusts recorded in Trenton, according to the NWS.
