Princeton Halloween Forecast Not Scary At All

Wednesday's forecast is looking good as of now.

PRINCETON, NJ — If you have children getting ready for a big night of trick-or-treating this Wednesday, you'll be happy to know the local forecast for Halloween in Princeton is not scary at all.

Forecasters are calling for a mostly sunny day on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Daytime highs should be in the mid-60s. At night, expect mostly cloudy skies with a low temperature in the low-50s. Rain is not likely, the National Weather Service predicts as of Tuesday.

Some rain will move in after the holiday, though. On Thursday, expect showers after 2 p.m. Rain is also likely Friday. A chance of showers remains Saturday.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 40. Light west wind.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Light south wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

Thursday: A slight chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 69. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Thursday Night: Rain. Low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday: Rain before 8am, then showers, mainly after 8am. High near 67. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Friday Night: Showers likely, mainly before 2 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Saturday: A chance of showers before 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 58. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 56.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 42.
