The National Weather Service is predicting moderate to heavy rain late Monday night. As the grounds are still wet from previous rainy conditions on Friday, localized flooding may occur.

Today: Rain, mainly after 3 p.m. High near 48. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Tonight: Rain, mainly before 4 a.m. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog before 1 a.m. Temperature rising to around 53 by 2 a.m. Southeast wind 11 to 16 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

New Year's Day: A chance of rain, mainly before 7 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 60. Breezy, with a northwest wind 16 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
