Rain And Snow Expected, Weekend Outlook For Princeton

PRINCETON, NJ — Rain and snow is expected this weekend for Princeton from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening according to the National Weather Service.

Here is a look at what to expect this weekend:

Saturday: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 4 p.m. High near 33. Light and variable wind becoming east 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Saturday Night: Snow before 10 p.m., then snow and sleet between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., then rain after 11 p.m. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 32. East wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Sunday: Freezing rain and sleet before 10 a.m., then snow, freezing rain, and sleet between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., then snow after 11 a.m. High near 32. North wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Sunday Night: A chance of snow before 7 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 5. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
