BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Six towns in Bergen County were among the 18 New Jersey towns and cities named in Niche.com's Best Places to Live in America in 2024 list, released last Tuesday.

Factors considered include public schools, walkability, diversity, the housing market, and more. The information comes from resident reviews, Census data, employment statistics, CDC numbers, and more.

The list, now in its 10th year, is intended to help everyone from young professionals to retirees decide where they want to live, they say.
