Bergen County 'Art In The Park' Show And Concert This Weekend

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – The 59th Annual Bergen County Art in the Park Show and Concert isscheduled for Saturday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Van Saun County Park in Paramus. The event will be held in Lot 4, area F.

The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 15. (Check the updated forecast here.)

More than 100 visual artists will be featured in the exhibition and sale, "representing a wide scope of artistic diversity within Bergen County," said the county.

Enjoy an afternoon in Van Saun County Park while viewing the work of some of North Jersey’s finest artists.

There will also be public art demonstrations featuring watercolors by: artist/teacher Tenn Lu; collage by artist/teacher James Nonas; acrylics by the Art Center of Northern New Jersey; and pottery by artist/teacher Peter Lagomarsino.

This year, the following organizations spotlighting artists with disabilities to be showcased are: The Alpine Learning Group; Bergen County Special Services; Life Opportunities, Unlimited; MarbleJam Kids; and New Jersey Expanding Capabilities, (NJ ECC).

Live music will be presented at 12:30pm-3:30pm by blues guitarist Dean Shot and renowned West Coast guitarist Junior Watson.

Van Saun County Park is a wheelchair accessible site, and large print programs will be available.
