Bergen Saint Patrick's Day Parade Scheduled For March 13

Kieran Lynch, past president of the Bergen Irish Association, will be the Grand Marshal.

BERGENFIELD, NJ — After two years, the Bergen County Saint Patrick's Day Parade is back in-person for 2022.

Kieran Lynch, past president of the Bergen Irish Association, will be the Grand Marshal. Lynch is also a member of the BIA's Board of Trustees, and his father Edward is a founding member of the organization.

The parade will be Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m. Before the parade, Lynch will deliver his Grand Marshal's address at 1 p.m. at Roy W. Brown Middle School in Bergenfield.

Honorary Aides to the Grand Marshal from this year and 2020 will follow Lynch down Washington Avenue. This year's Aides have been first responders throughout the pandemic.

The Council of Irish Associations of Greater Bergen County reminded residents they may support the parade and other events by sponsoring the parade journal.

This is the 40th annual parade, celebrating Irish culture and heritage in northern New Jersey.
