RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Spending hours preparing and cleaning up after a big dinner isn’t for everyone. For those who want to skip the fuss, several restaurants open Thanksgiving Day in the Ridgewood area will cook turkey dinner — or something else entirely.

Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 24, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan ahead as much as possible.

  • The Capital Grille; 1 Garden State Plaza Boulevard, Paramus; open from 11 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.
  • Eddie V's Prime Seafood; 1 Garden State Plaza Boulevard, Suite A8A, Paramus; open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Ventanas Restaurant and Lounge; 200 Park Avenue, Fort Lee; open from noon to 9 p.m.
  • Sanzari's New Bridge Inn; 105 Old New Bridge Road, New Milford; seating times are at noon, 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Lefkes; 495 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs; open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sofia; 36 Engle Street, Englewood; open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Brasserie Memere; 107 Vervalen Street at Closter Plaza, Closter; open from noon to 8 p.m.
  • Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern; 1 East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus; open from noon to 6 p.m.
  • Stern & Bow, 171 Schraalenburgh Road, Closter; open from 1 to 6 p.m.
