Winter Wonderland Opens At Bergen County Park With Kickoff This Weekend

From ice skating to ice bumper cars to live entertainment, Wonderland at Van Saun Park in Bergen County starts this weekend.

PARAMUS, NJ — Bergen County's Winter Wonderland, with games, live entertainment, ice skating, and ice bumper cars, opens this Friday and will hold a kickoff event Saturday.

Winter Wonderland takes place at Van Saun Park through Jan. 6.

Back for its eighth season, Winter Wonderland attracts over 30,000 visitors each year, officials say.

It includes outdoor ice skating, games, a beer and wine garden, ice bumper cars, and, new to this year, and weekly Bergen County-based live entertainment.

"From the giant 30-foot centerpiece Christmas Tree to the festive decorations throughout, Winter Wonderland has become a cherished holiday tradition, bringing together our 70 communities here in Bergen County," says a release from the county.

Winter Wonderland’s kickoff event takes place Saturday, Nov. 25, at 4 p.m., with a visit from Santa, crafts, and more (see flyer above).
