Bruce Springsteen Selling Rumson Home to NBA Player

Springsteen still owns two more properties in Rumson, at the corner of Bellevue and Ridge Road.

Rumson, NJ - Bruce Springsteen is selling one of his Rumson properties, to Oklahoma City Thunder guard/Villanova star Randy Foye, RedBankGreen has learned.

Springsteen is selling his property at 40 Bellevue Avenue to Foye, according to a contract filed with the Monmouth County Clerk, dated Feb. 26. It's a five-acre, 3,700-square-foot estate built in 1904 and assessed at $1.96 million. The property is directly across the street from Rumson Country Day School. The deed has not been transferred yet and Foye is currently in the NBA playoffs.

Springsteen still owns two more properties in Rumson, at the corner of Bellevue and Ridge Road. The home he sold to Foye was not his primary residence in Rumson. The Boss' main home these days is a massive, 368-acre horse farm in Colts Neck.

Foye is originally from New Jersey: He was orphaned as a boy and raised in inner-city Newark. He currently has a home on the Navesink River in Middletown and works out regularly at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional, Red Bank Green reports. He was a star at Villanova before turning pro.
