Rumson Road Westbound Closed On Monday: Cops

LITTLE SILVER, NJ - Rumson Road is expected to be closed throughout the day on Monday due to construction, authorities said.

Rumson Road will be closed westbound (towards Seven Bridge Road) on May 10 between Harding Road and Hance Road starting at 7:30 a.m. All westbound traffic will be detoured onto Hance Road.

“This should be the last day of construction on Rumson Road,” the Little Silver Police Department wrote in a statement. “Traffic delays and back-ups are to be expected.”

Motorists are urged to find alternative routes and avoid the area if possible
