20th Century Songwriters Concert at Scotch Plains Public Library

Concert: 20th Century Songwriters with Ellen LaFurn at Scotch Plains Public Library

Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00pm in the downstairs meeting room of the library.

Ellen LaFurn, accompanied by a pianist and bassist, will celebrate the music of and stories about influential female singers and songwriters of the 20th century in person at the Scotch Plains Public Library on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00pm.

She’ll highlight songs written by Marilyn Bergman, Carole King, and Lil Harden Armstrong; as well as those performed by influential singers such as Billie Holiday, Barbra Streisand, and Ella Fitzgerald. For more information about Ellen LaFurn, check out her website here.
