3 Scotch Plains Runners To Race In 2018 Boston Marathon

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Three Scotch Plains runners will be among the thousands to tackle one of the most iconic and notably road races — the 2018 Boston Marathon.

The 122nd running of the Boston Marathon 26.2-mile race from Hopkinton, Massachusetts to downtown Boston. Of the 30,000 runners that entered the 2017 race 26,400 completed it.

You can cheer on and follow these fellow local runners' progress during the 26.2 mile race in Boston, Massachusetts live on Monday, April 16. NBC Sports Network will be airing the race live on television and you can also catch it streaming online live at www.nbcsports.com beginning at 8:30 a.m.

• 9:17 a.m. - Men's Push-Rim Wheelchair Start

• 9:32 a.m. - Elite Women's Start
• 10 a.m. - Elite Men's Start
• 10:25 a.m. - Wave Two Start
• 10:50 a.m. - Wave Three Start
• 11:15 a.m. - Wave Four Start
