Brownie Is Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Pet Of The Week

Nominate your Pet for Scotch Plains-Fanwood's Pet of the Week and winners will receive 20 percent off any single item in Dukes' Pet Den.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Meet Brownie! He has been chosen as Scotch Plains-Fanwood Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Meet Brownie, a rescue dog from Georgia who was at a foster care in Upstate New York for a few months before he blessed us with his presence over five years ago. Back in March of this year, he had seizures and a possible stroke and we thought we would lose him.

However, with family perseverance and diligent medical treatment he has made a strong recovery. Not officially a therapy dog per-se, but none the less he gives our 17-year-old daughter lots of love and helps her during challenging times."
