Congregation Beth Israel to Hold Blood Drive

Scotch Plains synagogue to sponsor blood drive

The Men’s Club of Congregation Beth Israel will sponsor a Blood Drive on Sunday, September 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Scotch Plains synagogue.

The blood drive will be run by Vitalant, one of the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit community blood service providers. The drive is open to community members 18 years or older.

All blood donors are requested to wear face coverings. In addition, participants must weigh at least 110 pounds, bring an ID, and are advised to eat in advance and drink plenty of water before and afterwards.

Congregation Beth Israel is located at 18 Shalom Way (corner of Martine Avenue), Scotch Plains, NJ. The drive will be held in the bloodmobile stationed in the synagogue’s main parking lot across from its building.
