Easter Celebration Coming To Scotch Plains’ Cannonball House

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Although Easter may be on April 9 this year, the festivities are slated to begin a week ahead in Scotch Plains.

The Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood will be hosting an Easter Celebration for local families at the Osborn Cannonball House Museum on Sunday, April 2, complete with Easter egg games, a make-your-own bunny mask craft and Easter candy treats.

The event, which will take place from 2 to 4 p.m., will also feature the museum’s springtime antique clothing exhibit, including a display of antique bonnets and hats. Costumed guides will be available to give tours of the 18th century house belonging to one of the early founding families of Scotch Plains.

The museum is located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076. Admission to the museum is free but donations are welcome.
