Fanwood 5K-Fun Run And Health Fair Coming This Sunday

Registration is open for the Fanwood Breakfast 5K & Pajama Fun Run, taking place on Sunday morning, October 16th and beginning at La Grande Park! Continuing the tradition of annual Fanwood 5K and Fun Run races that began in 2010, this year’s event returns after a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

The event gets rolling with a 1-mile Fun Run at 9 AM. And in keeping with this year’s theme, we’re asking participants, especially kids, to come dressed up in their favorite pajamas. The Fun Run will be followed soon after by the 5K race, beginning at 9:30 AM. And since it’s a breakfast 5K, breakfast food trucks, serving a variety of breakfast food items, including waffles, acai bowls, eggs and much more, will be in La Grande Park. Come by yourself, come with your whole family (even better), but most importantly—come with an appetite and enjoy breakfast in the park!
