WESTFIELD, NJ - A Fanwood resident saw nearly $450 in valuables stolen out of her car while it was parked in a Westfield park last week, authorities said.

The incident, reported on Feb. 14 at around 3 p.m., took place in Tamaques Park, Westfield police said in a blotter statement.

The victim stated that her purse, wallet and $200 in cash was taken from the vehicle, police said. No damage was done to the vehicle.

The total estimated value of the stolen property is $450, police added.
