Halloween Parade & Costume Contest To Be Held In Fanwood On Sunday

FANWOOD, NJ — Fanwood's Parade and Costume Contest will be held on Sunday, Oct. 31.

For safety reasons, all participants ages two years and older must wear a face mask in the parade and contest.

The Halloween Parade will line up outside the Fanwood Library at 5 Forest Road at 6 p.m. The first 300 kids get a free glow-in-the-dark foam stick or light-up glasses.

The parade begins at 6:15 p.m. and will end at La Grande Park where the costume contest will begin at 6:30 p.m.

A Jack O'Lantern contest will also be held at the park at 6:30 p.m. Locals are asked to bring their pumpkins and write their name and age on entry forms. Prizes will be awarded.

Free refreshments including cider doughnuts, apple cider, and coffee, will be offered.
