Help Veterans Care for Their Pets

Help Vets Pets provides veterinary care for veterans' pets

Help Vets Pets is in dire need of funds. This program provides food and veterinary care for the dogs and cats of veterans living at Valley Brook Village on the grounds of the VA Hospital in Lyons, NJ as well as a few living off base. These animals provide their owners, once previously homeless veterans, with companionship, comfort and joy. Sometimes, these pets are the only family they have.

Unfortunately, Help Vets Pets has been hit with multiple veterinary bills for serious illnesses within a short period of time, and we now have pets on a wait list for care. We never want to say no to a veteran whose animal is in need of medical treatment.

If you can help, please call Berkeley Heights Animal Hospital (908-464-0023) as soon as possible to make a credit card donation. Every dollar will go toward paying the outstanding bills as well as for future care.
