Holiday Weekend Weather Forecast For Union County

UNION COUNTY, NJ —The countdown is on, Christmas is right around the corner and the weather is looking nice and sunny for the most part.

Take a look at what to expect this weekend through Christmas Day, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 42 by 5 p.m. West wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 30. West wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. West wind around 8 mph.

Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.

Monday, Christmas Eve: Partly sunny, with a high near 42.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Christmas Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40.
