Ice Cream Shop In Scotch Plains Ranked Among Best In NJ: Report
A creamery in Scotch Plains was ranked as the best ice cream shop in all of Union County, according to nj.com.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Scoops The Ice Creamery in Scotch Plains made the top 65 list of best ice cream shops in New Jersey, according to a ranking by nj.com.
July is National Ice Cream Month, and with the current heat wave in New Jersey, now is the perfect time to grab a scoop or two from your local ice cream shop. NJ.com ranked Scoops in Scotch Plains as the #42 best ice cream shop in the state — the only creamery from Union County that made the list.
The ice cream shop has been a part of the Scotch Plains community for more than 25 years, according to nj.com, and is located on Route 22.

Customers can enjoy homemade ice cream year-round at this spot with over 60 flavors that change daily. Jeremy Schneider of NJ Advance Media recommends the cinnamon oatmeal, strawberry cheesecake, Snickers or cookie jar flavors.
Some new flavors include Reese's dream, sea salt caramel, English butter toffee, hazel, vanilla fudge and cake batter.
