SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Jazz lovers, you’re in for a treat.

The 25th annual Moonglowers Jazz Festival is slated to take over Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School on Friday, March 24, featuring the stylings of musicians from across the Garden State.

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Jazz Band will warm the crowd up starting at 5 p.m., followed by various other local high school jazz bands.

The New Jersey Association for Jazz Education state champions, the Moonglowers, will take the stage last. The jazz band, hailing from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, has won the state championship title more than 10 times since 1979. They're also the oldest continuously operated high school jazz band in the state of New Jersey, have headlined at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in New York City and play at numerous community events.

Admission can be paid at the door and is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
