Scotch Plains 5K Run, Walk Coming This Month

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Ready to run - or walk - those St. Patrick’s Day party snacks off?

St. Bartholomew Academy HSA will be holding a 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, March 18 in Scotch Plains in collaboration with the Mayor’s Wellness Challenge.

The 5K will be held at Oak Ridge Park (136 Oak Ridge Road) from 8 to 11 a.m. Prizes will be available for several divisions, organizers said. A Fun Run and kids’ activities will also be offered.

Registration is $30 for adults ($20 for those under 18 years old) and includes a free snack and drink. Online registration is open now at raceforum.com/sba.

Participants who take part in the 5K and two other Mayor’s Wellness Challenge events are eligible for a Mayor’s Medal. The upcoming Mayor’s Wellness Challenge events are listed below:
