Scotch Plains Martial Arts Studio Offers Classes Amid Coronavirus

"We are offering a bunch of different things to try and survive like all other businesses," said Myke Washington, Ex. Director of FACE Corp.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — When the coronavirus pandemic hit, Family And Community Engagement Corp (FACE Corp)/Goshu-Kwan Studio, a non-profit organization in Scotch Plains, had to close. Since reopening in August, Executive Director Myke Washington is offering an array of classes for adults and kids to keep people busy and to try and survive during the pandemic.

"We are hoping to get more of the word out there that we are open," Washington said. "We really, really need people to know."

Many small businesses have been hurting during this time and Washington wants locals to know he is offering semi-private and private indoor classes to keep afloat.
