SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Scotch Plains DPW employees are still hard at work trying to clear the more than 15 inches of snow dumped on the township.

"This much snow doesn't happen every day and we haven't seen this much snow in over 5 years and it's taken some time to clear the town of snow," said Mayor Joshua Losardo in a video to residents. (See the full video below)

Scotch Plains has more than 333 streets or 75 miles of roadway to clear. The town is split up into 10 different districts taking about 4 hours to clear one district during the storm, said Losardo.
