Scotch Plains Saint Bart's Festival To Return In 2021

The famous Italian festival will be held on Labor Day Weekend from Friday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 6 in Scotch Plains.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Saint Bartholomew's Festival, the famous Italian festival held annually by UNICO in Scotch Plains on Labor Day weekend, will return in 2021 after being canceled due to the pandemic.

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO made the happy announcement on their Facebook page on Tuesday that the festival will be held on Labor Day Weekend from Friday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 6.

The festival has been an annual tradition honoring San Nicola di Bari, the patron saint of the town of Montazzoli, Italy, since 1974.

It includes nightly live music, rides, games, and food, including favorites like pizza, pasta, zeppoles, clams, mussels, and calzones. In addition, there are nightly 50/50 drawings and a super 50/50 raffle on Monday.
