NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Sheelen’s Fish Market of Fanwood is officially celebrating the grand opening of its second location on the Union and Somerset County border on Tuesday.

Owners Sean Flannery and Frank Pascale of Sheelen’s Fish Market originally opened the second location at 527 Route 22 West in North Plainfield in November 2020. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, they could not host a grand opening in 2020.

The opening came even after Flannery battled a severe case of COVID in March 2020. Despite this, he continued to push forward to open the second location of Sheelen’s Fish Market, knowing there was a need for fresh fish in the North Plainfield/Warren area.
