St. Paddy’s Day Festival Returns To Scotch Plains’ Darby Road Pub

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Scotch Plains’ Darby Road Pub is set to return its annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival for its eighth year in 2023 after a COVID-19 hiatus.

The three-day festival will take place from Friday, March 17 to Sunday, March 19 and feature food, beer, live bands, bagpipes and Irish dancers, alongside big screen TVs for March Madness viewing, according to the pub’s website. Bring the kids on Saturday and Sunday for pony rides, face painters and bounce houses.

The restaurant will open at 11 a.m. on Friday, with outdoor tent service starting at noon all three days, the pub said. On Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant will open at 11:30 a.m.

“It’s been 3 years,” the pub wrote in a statement on social media. “[The] pandemic slowed us down, but you can’t stop the fun, you all deserve it. Slaintè.”
