PLAINFIELD, NJ — Plainfield Public Schools announced on Monday that classes across the district will be virtual for the next few days, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases across the state.

Dr. Diana Mitchell, Superintendent of Schools, made the announcement via a district-wide message alerting parents and staff.

“Due to an increase in COVID cases throughout New Jersey, all in-district students will be virtual from 12/21/21 to 12/23/21. Out-of-District students will follow their school schedule," Mitchell added, “We will continue to work with the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) to decide the best and safest way to return to school in January.”
