Watch: Bears Caught On Video In Union County

"OH MY GOD! It's a bear!" screams a woman from Union in the video.

Scotch Plains, NJ -- Bears are being spotted all over the local area, with some even being caught on camera.

Eric Rodriguez and his girlfriend Tatiana Iglesia of Union shared this video of a bear on Hazel Place just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, according to nj.com.

"OH MY GOD! It's a bear!" screams Iglesia in the video.

Union Police warned residents on Wednesday around noon that a bear was seen in the area of Grandview Avenue and Floyd and fled into the woods.

Another bear was caught on camera by a Scotch Plains resident in the morning on Thursday, June 9, according to tapinto.net.

Alerts were sent out this morning by police for a bear spotted in both Watchung and Scotch Plains on Thursday.

bear had been spotted around 9:45 a.m. in Watchung near Route 22

Another bear was seen around noon Thursday, June 9 in the area of Willow Avenue and Farley Avenue in Scotch Plains

"Residents are urged to not approach the bear, but to call 911 if they have spotted the bear," Fanwood Police reported. "Please keep children and pets indoors, and be aware of your surroundings."
