Wawa To Celebrate Opening Of Plainfield Store Friday

PLAINFIELD, NJ — Wawa will be hosting a grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Plainfield store at 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, featuring first responders, local officials and charity partners.

The new store at 1470 South Ave. in Plainfield will open to the public at 8 a.m. with Wawa Plainfield t-shirts for the first 100 customers, as supplies last. Wawa will offer free coffee to all customers at this location from Friday, Dec. 3 through Sunday, Dec. 5.

The grand opening of this location is the first store in Plainfield and the sixth store to open in Union County to date.
