Driver Crashes Stolen Car In South Brunswick, Seriously Injured: PD

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Police in South Brunswick are investigating a serious car crash that took place Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred on Route 1 by Beekman Road. The driver crashed the car into a utility pole and suffered serious injuries, police said.

According to police, the car was reportedly stolen earlier on Friday from Passaic County.

Route 1 southbound between Beekman Road and Sandhill Road has only one lane open.

Authorities say the road will be closed for three hours at least.
