Gas Pipe Replacement, Milling & Paving Project Underway In Summit

Several roads will be impacted by the PSE&G project. Find out the affected Summit streets below:

SUMMIT, NJ — PSE&G crews will be working to replace gas pipes and performing milling and paving throughout Summit this week, according to an announcement from the City.

PSE&G crews will be working on the following streets in Summit over the next week:

Bellevue Avenue between Hillcrest Avenue and Summit Avenue
Hillcrest Avenue between Bellevue Avenue and Woodland Avenue
Hillcrest Avenue between Summit Avenue and Fernwood Road
Karen Way between Canoe Brook Parkway and Wade Drive
Beechwood Road between Bellevue Avenue and Hawthorne Place

PSE&G will also be performing milling and paving on the following streets in Summit beginning Monday, Oct. 31:

Hobart Road between Hobart Avenue and Dogwood Drive
Ridge Road between Hobart Avenue and Summit Avenue
Hobart Avenue between Whittredge Road and Beacon Road
Hobart Avenue between Springfield Avenue and Whittredge Road

Work will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting.
