SUMMIT, NJ - Utility work at the new fire headquarters in Summit have prompted overnight detours this week, authorities said.

The detours will begin Jan. 30 through Feb. 3 and will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., Summit municipal officials said in a statement. During the detour period, Broad Street will be closed westbound with a detour onto Walnut Street.

A single lane will be open for vehicle traffic eastbound, officials added. Overlook Medical Center access will not be impacted.
