SUMMIT, NJ — Summit Police Department advises residents to avoid certain roads on Wednesday due to utility work.

Police said to avoid Woodland Avenue between Deforest Avenue and Hawthorne Place, as well as Butler Parkway between Morris Avenue and Hartley Road.

The roads will be closed until 4 p.m. for utility work, police said. Detours are in place.
