Concert, Fireworks On Tap At Shelter Cove In Toms River

Toms River's summer concert series continues, with fireworks set to be held after the concert.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River is inviting families to head to Shelter Cover Wednesday night for the continuing summer concert series and fireworks.

Garden State Radio is slated to perform, beginning at 7 p.m. The cover band performs hits from the 1970s through the present.

The concert will be followed by a fireworks display, at approximately 9 p.m.

There will be food available for purchase, including Kona Ice Jersey Shore, which will have a truck selling its Hawaiian-style ice at the concert. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on.

Because parking is limited at Shelter Cove, the township is providing shuttle buses from 6 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m., to and from the parking lot at Toms River High School East, 1225 Raider Way.
