Movie, Concert, Fireworks Postponed In Toms River Due To Storm Threat

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Thunderstorms in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, Toms River officials have postponed the town's community entertainment events set for both nights.

Tuesday's Movie Night in Huddy Park, with the showing of "Zootopia," has been postponed. A makeup date will be announced later.

On Wednesday, the concert performance at Shelter Cove Beach by The Infernos with fireworks has been moved to Monday, Aug. 12, with the concert beginning at 7 p.m. Shuttle buses will be provided from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Toms River High School East.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are predicted in the area beginning Tuesday afternoon and continuing through Thursday.
