Movie Nights, Concert Series Announced In Toms River
Movies are scheduled for Huddy Park and the concerts are scheduled for Shelter Cove, the township announced.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River will host free movies and concerts in the summer of 2024 and has announced the schedules for both.
The movies and concerts are free. Attendees should bring something to sit on — chairs, blankets — and snacks. Alcohol and any kind of smoking are not permitted under state law.
The summer concerts are set for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays at Shelter Cove Beach.

The concert schedule:
- Wednesday, June 26: Tramps Like Us (July 1 raindate)
- Wednesday, July 10: Dr. K's Motown Revue (July 15 raindate)
- Wednesday, July 24: Garden State Radio (July 29 raindate)
- Wednesday, Aug. 7: The Infernos (Aug. 12 raindate)
- Wednesday, Aug. 14: Austin City Nights (Aug. 19 raindate)
- Wednesday, Aug. 21: Second Contact (Aug. 28 raindate).
Weather-related cancellations will be announced on the township's Facebook page at noon on the day of the concert.

The movies at Huddy Park are family-friendly and are set for Tuesdays, starting at approximately dusk.

- Tuesday, July 2: The Sandlot, 8:45 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 16: Under The Boardwalk, 8:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 30: Migration, 8:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 6: Zootopia, 8:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 20: Coco, 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, Sept. 3: The Incredibles, 8 p.m.
