Pro wrestler turned filmmaker, and current Tom's River resident Christopher Annino has won his 62nd award at the Indifare international film festival https://indiefarefest.com/resu...

Christopher Annino was diagnosed with severe neurological disabilities at a young age.

He attended Fitch Highschool in Groton, CT where he excelled in athletics, poetry, drama, and music.

He received a NCAA athletic and academic scholarship for Mitchell College. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication's with a concentration in sociology.

Prior to this he graduated the Connecticut fire academy and was a firefighter for five years.

He then competed in various strength related sport's including power lifting, and Strongman. After a brief stint playing semi pro football with the NEFL. He focused on his hidden passion pro wrestling.

"Some of my favorite pro wrestler's of all time are killer bees with B Brian Blair and Jumping Jim Brunzell, the Pitbulls, Freebirds, Bam Bam Bigelow, the Pitbulls, Greg Valentine, Bob Backlund, and the whole Hart family especially Owen Hart, the British bulldog, Dynamite Kid, Natalya and Jim Niedhart" said Annino.

Annino was trained by Killer Kowalski student Chris Blackheart, NWA hall of Fame inductee Susan Tex Green, and Ox Baker.

He originally wrestled as a firefighter good guy persona Rescue 911 until he retired in 2016 after suffering a back injury that briefly ended his career.

During his career he captured numerous titles and Awards. He was the last NWA new England brass knuckles champion, he won Costa Rican Six person tag team championship, SPW tag team championship, VPW tag team championship, and won the Ox Baker memorial cup.

During his retirement from wrestling he turned to his long time friend Biju Viswanath. There Biju helped fine tune Chris's skills as a filmmaker. As a result Annino became a award winning filmmaker.

The film just won best silent film and Indifare international film festival

He came out of retirement in 2021 after he portrayed a down and out pro wrestler in the experimental dark comedy feature film Covid Karma.

As a result of the success of the film Christopher Annino has been offered to wrestle once more as the Intimidator Pitbull number 3. He was recently featured on Fite TV with the Pitbulls Mad Dogs of War which consist of ECW originals Captain Gary Wolf pitbull number 1, Angel Orsini, Jason Knight, Rodney Mack, Jazz, Mustafa, former WCW Alex the pug Pourteau, original GLOW girl Jeanne Hollywood Basone, and the voluptuous valet Nadia Steele.

He will be wrestling in Tom's river for Find Yourself Wrestling 1861 Hooper Ave. Toms River, NJ 08753 for the first ever Balls Mahoney memorial Cup. Which is a over the top Royal rumble.
