Puppies Rescued From Hot, Filthy House In Asbury Park

The mother and her litter of 10 puppies were found by another law enforcement agency, who called the Monmouth County SPCA.

ASBURY PARK, NJ – The Monmouth County SPCA’s Humane Law Enforcement Division recused a dog and her puppies from a house on Dewitt and Springwood Avenue in Asbury Park on Monday.

Another law enforcement agency discovered the dogs while they were looking for someone. When the SPCA came to recuse the mother and her pups, they were in a urine-and feces-covered room with a temperature of over 90 degrees and had no food or water.

The puppies were severely dehydrated and needed immediate medical support and now are under the watch of the SPCA along with their mother.
