All Lanes Reopened On I-78 After 2 Tractor Trailers Collide In Warren

Traffic is currently using the shoulder to pass on Monday morning. The current travel time is 50 to 55 minutes, according to 511NJ.

WARREN, NJ — All lanes are closed on Interstate 78 West due to an overturned tractor trailer on Monday morning.

The crash was reported around 4:04 a.m. on I-78 West at milepost 38.2 just east of Exit 36 - County Route 651 in Warren Township, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry.

Two tractor-trailers crashed causing one to overturn. Minor injuries were reported, said Curry.

The westbound lanes were closed for several hours but have since been reopened.

There was heavy traffic on I-78 west just East of Exit 40 - CR 531 in Watchung to east of Exit 36 - CR 651 in Warren. The travel time was around an hour at one point.
