Warren, Watchung Hills, Green Brook Schools Close Due To Snow

The National Weather Service projected between 4 to 6 inches of snow to fall in the area through Tuesday at 4 p.m.

WARREN, NJ — All Warren Township Schools, Watchung Hills Regional High School, and Green Brook schools will now close on Tuesday due to inclement weather, announced the district on Tuesday.

There will be no before/aftercare. All after-school activities are canceled.

The districts had initially announced a delayed opening on Monday night. The decision was changed to a full closure on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday: Snow, mainly before 2 p.m. High near 33. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 11. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
