Cinemark To Open New Luxury Theatre Thursday In Watchung

WATCHUNG, NJ — Cinemark will open its new 10-screen luxury theatre in Watchung on Thursday, April 18 at 1670 Route 22 East.

This is the first Cinemark in Somerset County and second in New Jersey.

The new theatre will feature heated Luxury Lounger electric recliners in all auditoriums and an XD auditorium. Movies set to be shown at the new theatre include "Avengers 4: Endgame," "Aladdin," "Spider-Man: Far From Home," "Lion King" and more. Tickets are now available at www.cinemark.com.

Cinemark Watchung and XD will feature several amenities including:

• Luxury Loungers - plush, ergonomic over-sized heated recliners with cup holders and footrests. All auditoriums feature Luxury Lounger recliners.
• Cinemark XD Auditorium - is the largest wall-to-wall screen at this theatre, which features a state-of-the-art projector and custom surround sound system.
• Reserved Seating, Online Ticketing and Kiosk Ticketing - guests can reserve a seat in advance on cinemark.com or in the Cinemark app.
• 10 Auditoriums - the immersive screens offer digital projection systems with select auditoriums capable of RealD 3D.
• Concession Stand - popcorn, soft drinks, candy and more.
• Party Room - open for birthday parties or events and include a private screening of a movie.

There will also be Cinemark Movie Club, a monthly in-theatre membership program for $8.99 per month, plus tax where applicable, which provides benefits including 20 percent off concessions, rollover and companion tickets, reserved seating and no online fees.
