Fireworks, Rides, Food, And More As Passaic County Fair Begins Thursday

WOODLAND PARK, NJ — Looking for some summer fun in Passaic County, with a new school year around the corner? Local families can get their fill of fried food, carnival rides, games, and fireworks at the County Fair.

Live music, pony rides, a wine and beer garden, and plenty of other activities are on the docket for this year's Passaic County Fair, which takes place from Thursday through Sunday at Garret Mountain Reservation in Woodland Park.

The family-friendly event also features animal ambassadors, face painting, a petting zoo, butterfly exhibits, touch-a-truck, and exhibitions from local 4-H students.

• Thursday, Aug. 15 from 6 p.m to 11 p.m. (Wristband Night)
  • Opening ceremony from 7:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Music by Swingman & The Misfit Mutts from 6:30 to 11 p.m.
  • Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

• Friday, Aug. 16 from 6 p.m to 11 p.m.
  • Music by Naughty Humphrey from 7 to 11 p.m.
  • Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

• Saturday, Aug. 17 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. (Wristband Night)
  • Music by One50Project from 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Music by MPACK from 8 to 11 p.m.
  • Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

• Sunday, Aug. 18 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Music by the Larry Stevens Band from 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Music by Big Beat Band from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
